1.5 | An important remark about notations and symbols used

As of the time of writing this book, Microsoft is experimenting quite a bit with icons and notations used. Furthermore, Fabric has been released, and the overlay of the Power BI Online Service has changed accordingly.

This is the reason why you see different icons for the same thing on screenshots shown in the different chapters.

At some point I want to harmonize icons and notations used. But only after Microsoft has settled down a bit. Otherwise I would do this exercise many times over and over again.

12 November 2023: I just noted that datasets are now called "semantic models". Sigh...
