📄️ 4.1 | Chapter overview
In the previous chapter we have created the automated data preparation process in Power Query. We finally loaded the prepared data tables to Power BI. In this chapter we will build the data model and adjust some of its properties such that we are ready to build visualizations and dashboards.
📄️ 4.2 | Building the data model
Building the data model means connecting the prepared dimension and fact tables via table relationships. As described in chapter VERWEIS, the most common data model schema by far in practice is the star schema model. And as such we will structure our model.
